![]() ![]() ![]() Purchased when she was only a 4-month-old pup, this is one of Lucy’s favorite all-time toys. Promising review: "I have been saying 'I should go on Amazon and give this toy a five-star review' since I purchased it in 2016, just over four years ago. Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (available in a smaller size, and seven colors). I purchased a couple of other options of food puzzles like this for her to try and she doesn't even touch those, this one wins out every time. We've had it a week or so and she's used it twice a day every day and I've had no issues with her or my other dogs chewing it up or breaking or tearing it in any way. It makes feeding time much less stressful. During that time, I'm able to feed all my other animals and they're able to finish eating their food without her jumping all over me, knocking the food out of my hand, scarfing up their food, etc. Instead of gobbling up her entire bowl of food in about three seconds, this occupies her and keeps her busy for at least 5–10 minutes. I give her this first and she is totally occupied with getting her food out. I love how you can pop it open so it's easy to fill with her dog food. I was afraid she'd have it chewed up in about five minutes, but so far it has worked wonders. ![]() I purchased this to try to slow her down and keep her occupied for a little bit. She loves to eat and will jump all over me, knock over the bin, knock the food out of my hand before I can get it in her bowl, and eat all her puppy brothers' and kitty sisters' food before they can even get in any bites. So I have a hoover of a dog that gobbles up literally anything and everything she can get her mouth on. Promising review: "This thing is awesome and whoever invented it is a genius. Just go buy this, it is our best dog purchase ever!" - MomOfThree I cannot believe I just wrote this long of a review about a dog toy! Most def a first for me. But let me tell you, she is so happy for every second of those minutes! It is such great brain stimulation and activates her natural foraging instincts. If we fill it only with treats (therefore much less to eat), it takes her about 3–5 min to successfully complete. She goes nuts! It’s honestly not that hard for her to figure out, it takes her about 7–10 min to finish a heaping 1/2 cup of food with this toy. Promising review: "We LOVE this! It is so much fun to watch our mini Goldendoodle hunt for treats! We were originally going to just use this several times per week for treats since she doesn’t have a problem of inhaling her food (and therefore needs to be slowed down during meals) but she loves it SO much that we now feed her all of her meals (2x/day) using this toy! She gets sooo excited when she sees it be pulled out at mealtime. Get it from Amazon for $10.39+ (available in four sizes). He gets bored easily and giving him a task like this is wonderful while I'm working." - Tiffany It's really well made and just a great idea to keep him entertained and happy. There's tons of room for his other squeaky toys in addition to all of the squirrels it came with - and when he gets them all out it's roomy enough for him to just stick his snout in there and huff the sweet satisfaction of a doggo job well done. I ordered the ginormous and it's a great size for him. My 80-pound Airedale has a huge snout and looooves rooting out things with his nose. He walks around the house with them, he absolutely loves them!! He practically fits inside the log when trying to get them and it's really cute too." - Segal He takes the squirrels out and I put them back in. Promising review: "I have to say, this is THE BEST dog toy EVER!!! My dog is a 7-pound Morkie, he's almost five months old and teething like crazy! He's chewing on and playing with everything and this toy keeps him occupied for hours. Depending on the size you buy, the toy will come with three to six squirrels. ![]()
